Better Logging features for Maximo Mobile app

Maximo Mobile has a great feature for collecting logging data but the logs getting printed is not much of a help. It does not currently print the console logs coded by the developers neither does it print the logs using Maximo Mobile Log class import. Logging is more important as debugging Maximo Mobile is really difficult as the apps are built and downloaded from app store. Device logs are not much of a help. Also, a number of time custom functionality built during IBM's development environment for Maximo Mobile does not work the same in web and app version and it is really crucial to have logs printed for this scenario. Here below is suggested change: 1. Provide a method to print console logs or add a logger to print logs in the device. 2. Add feature to configure Info and debug log level 3. Remove or refine unwanted logs printing in current logging

Currently you can ask via support ticket an APK / Android application with debugging capabilities enabled. With that you can plug it to Chrome and see network requests and console log. Agreed that review the logging content is already an area for enhancement that is being tracked by another idea. Will close this one since we have this workaround in place for now, to help support and development. Thanks for your feedaback
