End users don't know if there are any worklogs added to the WO without clicking on the work log icon, there is no number adding to the icon if there are any logs created.

Hello Team,

 

In the Maximo Mobile Technician application, when a work log is added to a work order there is no badge on the work log icon that displays the number of work logs present. The users have to click on the work log icon to see if there are any work logs present.

We are currently on MAS 8.10 IFIX 4, we feel that it is a very useful feature for the end users so that they know if there are any worklogs present for the work order.

    The concern is that there isn't a concept of messages read with work logs. The task indication displays a count of uncompleted tasks. Is a total work logs enough to indicate?

    This is achievable. Look at the code for task page icon on work order details page.


    To IBM, this should be delivered OOTB.
