Maximo Anywhere changes needed to meet Data Integrity requirements

The current design of Maximo Anywhere for offline work order execution does not meet regulatory requirements for data integrity per the ALCOA+ principles. The Maximo audit trail for work orders executed in an offline mode does not preserve the date/time contemporaneous with execution in off-line mode. Rather, the audit trail date/time stamp is populated with the transmission date and time. Therefore, the audit trail makes it look like all work was performed during time of transmission from an audit trail perspective. This does not meet data integrity requirements outlined in ALCOA+. ALCOA+ requires preservation of the date and time that the actual updates in Maximo Anywhere occurred. To meet full requirement, BOTH the transmission date/time AND the contemporaneous date/time of offline execution need to be preserved in the audit trail. The same is true for any eSignatures that are done in offline mode. The contemporaneous date and time of the eSignature must be preserved.

As part of the review process, we strive to be transparent about our intentions with each enhancement suggestion. The offering team has carefully reviewed this idea and has decided that it does not fit into our current plans for Maximo Anywhere, which is under maintenance mode, although the idea is being marked as delivered, since MAS8.10 added the capability as described. We value your feedback and thank you for allowing us the privilege of partnering with you in developing our products.
