Connecting to DM using Rhapsody custom application via proxy server

CLM Version : 6.0.5
Design Manager Version : 6.0.5
Rhapsody Version : 8.2 & 8.3

The CLM server is an internet facing site(can be accessed via internet)

We use the DesignManager SDK : https://jazz.
net/wiki/bin/view/Main/DMSdkOverview to create a custom application.

The custom application is part of Rhapsody dialog menu

The functionality of the custom application is to be able to create a RTC workitem and link the created workitem to the loaded DM model.

The functionality currently works when the custom application directly connects to the Design Manger server from internet however it does not work when a user is connecting from company's network as proxy configuration is set on the user's machine.


As of today DM SDK does not support proxy configurations. This needs to be supported as all major companies have a proxy configuration when connecting to the internet.
