Baselines

Allow adding existing baselines to new baseline sets to approach a more comprehensive 'emulation' of the concept of versions.

In practise, baselines are more than 'freeze once', 'store away' snapshots of module data / states. Baseline sets are used to capture a defined state of entities described in one or multiple modules. It is not the case, that always the current ver...

Add means to update / modify baseline access controls in limited scenarios.

Static / frozen Access Control Lists block baselines from being accessed on different - or same but evolved, databases, where users and groups differ / have changed. This is especially an issue when a module with baselines is restored from an arch...

(optionally) Store filter and view settings with a baseline

Baselines store data. But they do not store the views and filters and their settings at the time the baseline was taken / current data. This creates issues down the line when views and filters change or get removed. It would be preferable to store...

Enhance Baseline Compare to use other Attributes

We have a customised Baseline compare which allows Export of comparison to an Attribute in the Module (highlights changes from BL 1 to BL2) Allows comparison of other text Attributes (e.g. comments) which can be exported to Word or csv

Insertion of a filter function for baselines and streams like it is already given for change sets

In the Manage Components and Configurations view of a component, change sets can be filtered by name this feature is not available for streams and baselines but would be very useful especially with a large number of objects.
