IBM Sustainability Software - Ideas Portal

This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).

Shape the future of IBM!

We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Access to "Display Format" and "Show Type" over Java API for Proxy Port Display Options.

In the diagrams (e.g. ibd) the default values for "Display Format" is "Type Only", and "Show Type" is enables. But I´d like to set "Display Format" to "None" and uncheck/disable the "Show Type" option for all proxy ports on the diagram over the Ja...

Correct SysML Activity Parameter/Pin ownership

Systems engineers performing models-based systems engineering may have need to analyze object flow between activities. Currently the Rhapsody and RMM APIs show pins as belonging to the activity that owns a call behavior, rather than the call behav...

Rich text descriptions out of RMM through RMM Rest API

Currently we use RMM Rest API to generate key documents for delivery to the customer. The RMM Rest API allows the ability to get description of an Architecture Element, but this is only plain text. We need the ability to get rich text out to reduc...

Creating links between RMM Elements and RM and QM Artifacts while using the AM/CCM Model Webview should allow users to work in the context of a change set.

It would helpful if when creating links from RMM elements to RM and QM artifacts while in the AM/CCM model webview the user could work in the context of a change set and allow all of the links created at that time to be added to a single change set.

Links created between RMM elements and RM or QM artifacts created in one configuration should not be visible in all configurations that include the two objects.

Our team has found that when creating links between RMM model elements and RM or QM artifacts in a configuration in the context of a global configuration, these links are visible in all configurations that contain both objects. For configuration m...

Linux Makefile clarification to use CC for selected compiler only

On Linux the Makefile defines CC=gcc -DUSE_IOSTREAM. Please note CC by convention is reserved to hold only the name of the C compiler, e.g. gcc or clang. Rhapsody should follow this convention and should use extra variables for required defines.

Additional OSLC Link to track new version of Architecture Element between CCM->AM

Request: Need Additional OSLC Link "Implemented By Architecture Element" from CCM->AM Use Case: Currently we have only one link "Elaborated By Architecture Element" from Change Management to Architecture Management area in JazzIf we want to lin...

64-bit version of the Green Hills adapter

We have enjoyed the integration of Rhapsody and Green Hills Integrity. We are surprised to hear that the new 64-bit Rhapsody 9.x version adapter for Green Hills Integrity is currently not supported. Green Hills does have an updated Multi/Integrity...

Improve consistency between Rhapsody UI and Rhapsody API

To fetch the main diagram of a model elements "getMainDiagram()" API shall be used. Documentation for getMainDiagram() API claims it works only for packages, classes, actors, use cases, objects, and interfaces. This works for all other element but...

Makefile for MINGW: LIBS should use same path separator as INST_LIBS, OXF_LIBS

Currently only variable LIBS seems to use a backslash \ as path separator. Other variables e.g. INST_LIBS, OXF_LIBS use slash /. So please use also / for LIBS. I recommend this harmonization for consistency reasons, even if both work with MINGW.
