Shape the future of IBM!

Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,

Post your ideas
  1. Post an idea.

  2. Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.

Request to be able to delete baseline references when baselines have been deleted

We have modules with more than 700 baselines, but a lot have been deleted. When we view the list of baselines in "Manage Baselines" it is slow to scroll through as all the baseline references remain, even though some have been deleted. We request ...

Add a feature that tracks (and/or controls) DXL scripts database wide during runtime and beyond.

Currently DXL scripts offer powerful customisation options, but since they're entirely run client-side, it is hard to manage them centrally and database wide, especially when they impact performance or stability, or when maintenance tasks require ...

Allow users to manage / unlock their previously stalled and prematurely terminated DOORS client <> server connections

Currently, users who get disconnected by any means other than the proper DOORS Client "File" "Exit" termination, may find their DOORS session still being active albeit stale, or locks still in place from a previous session. Currently administrator...

ReqIF option 'No locks. Exported data is read-only.' should instead read something like this: 'No locks. Update not possible'

OSLC connections can be configured for linking in DOORS 9. A configured connection takes its description / name from the remote project it points at. In a scenario where multiple / separate remote systems are home to similarly named projects / con...

improve migration log - failed because of a deleted LinkModule but do not state which one

When doing a DOORS Migration(Migiz) of multiple module (with links), we go an error because of an offending deleted link module, but it does not state which one. Would be very useful that the Migiz export utility provided a full path or module id....

Tools->Option->"OSLC Link Query" tab needs to be intuitive

It takes a lot of time to search for the right project when the list is so (which is , in our case). It would help us to win a lot of time if we had an option to search for the project and then choose it/select it.

Request for SAML authentication in DOORS

SAML is not supported with DOORS. This is an important security consideration. Can SAML support please be added for DOORS ?

Tivolli RDS is extermely old, difficulit to setup and has poor support available from IBM (it has taken over 6 months to work out how to get it to work in our environment because of the poor deloployment architecture of Tivolli RDS). Given that it...
