This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Please consider changing/improving how broken links across different components are handled in DNG.
We have a large number of links that span components. When deleting an artifact which has in-links, if both ends of the artifact are in the same component the link is automatically deleted, but if the origination end of the link is in a different component it results in a broken link.
The broken link makes it impossible to publish the originating module using a view that contains the broken link. In that case, DNG returns a 404 error to the /rm/publish request.
Please consider the following suggestions:
1. When deleting an artifact which has in-links from other components, provide a warning message to the user indicating that these in-links exist and will result in broken links, and that the user may want to delete those links from the source artifacts prior to deleting the target artifact. Provide a "cancel" button so they can go delete the links first.
2. Provide a method to filter out broken out-links in a view. Such a capability exists in the "artifact links" pane for the selected artifact (you can deselect "external links" and they go away), but there's no way to do this for the view as a whole.
3. Provide a method for the /rm/publish request to not generate a 404 error if bad links exist. Maybe a "best available" approach would work, or perhaps add it as an option on the /rm/publish request.
