Current:

At the moment an e-mail of a comment (discussion) looks like this:

  • Subject:    [ArtfaktType 123456] Artfiakt-Name-up-to-256-chars-or-advanced-setting-in-doorsnext-hiher-then-256-chars
  • E-Mail:      
    • User-Name + again the Artifact-Name \n
    • Comment-subject \n
    • The comment itself.

The only way to configure the e-mail is to manipulate the name ... but we do not want this.

Requirements on the e-mail:

We need to mark the e-mails and want to have other attributes sent.

Better:

Please give us some kind of e-mail template for comments (discussions) within a project.

The subject of the email and the text shall be configurable with attributes.

Example:

  • Subject  = "($ATTR:Marking) $PROJECT_NAME - $MODULE_NAME - $ARTIFACT_ID - $ATTR:ArtifactTitle"
  • Text = "$USER - $SUBJECT \n $PRIMARY_TEXT \n\n $COMMENT"

Where $ATTR:xyz is a customized attribute and e.g. $PRIMARY_TEXT is the "Primary text" of the artifact ... etc.
