IBM Sustainability Software - Ideas Portal

This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).

Shape the future of IBM!

We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Search existing ideas

Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,

Post your ideas
  1. Post an idea.

  2. Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.

  3. Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Like-for-like Reporting

We made a custom Like for Like report for abrdn (Attached). 'Note that this is a template report (basically a macro that was made for abrdn)'

I have screenshotted the report which pulls out Operational Status Operational Control and I think the macro works out what it's Like-for-Like status should be, so weather it should be included in the report or excluded. I'm not an expert on the detail of this so my explanation might be wrong. When I opened the document it was created by Annie and @Michael Dunbar was the last editor of this.

I understand that there are still several manual steps that abrdn need to do to get the data in the format they need to submit to INREV and EPRA

At some point we also tried to include this like-for-like analysis in the Property Manager PowerReport but I believe this report never went live. Here is a screenshot below with the buttons to toggle between absolute and Like for Like.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feature request with us. We greatly appreciate your input and your enthusiasm for enhancing our product.

After careful consideration and discussion, we want to acknowledge that we believe your idea has significant merit and could potentially benefit our users and our platform in the future. However, at this time, we have chosen not to prioritize its implementation. I'd like to provide you with some insights into our decision-making process and the reasons behind it:

    * Lack of flexibility: A standard Like-for-Like definition may be limiting and not in line with an organization's definition. If we were to introduce a like-for-like mechanic, we'd like to see it be rule-based and flexible to modify via organization settings.

In the interim, we have released PowerBI Desktop capability to our consultants and ExpertLabs personnel. Customers should be encouraged to seek assistance from these teams to achieve their reporting goals through PowerReport Developer.
