This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Thank you for submitting the Idea, we greatly value your feedback. Our team is actively looking into how to better the Inventory Counting application, we'll be taking your input as a data point as well and consider the requests for future releases.
I wanted to bring your attention to the Role Based Application (RBA) of ''Inventory Counting'' which provides this capability currently. The RBA is the same code / UI / feature set as the Mobile Application, the key difference is, it's accessed through a (mobile) browser and it requires connection. It and works directly with server queries (as opposed to the MAS Mobile App offline-first approach that doesn't require a connection).
Please also note, that you do have a 2nd tab on both the AdHoc counting and the Count Books actions in ICMOBILE where you can make adjustments based on the information of whether the physical count was a match or a mismatch with what's in the Maximo database at the time (the mismatched counts are highlighted with yellow warning icons). In the RBA in Reconciliation on Mobile you can also see the amount by which the physical count differs from the one currently on file.
We do understand you would like to see the Reconciliation within the app-store downloadable / installed version of the Application and other design changes.
In case based on the RBA Reconciliation action (available in mobile browsers) you would have further notes or feedback please let us know and we will take those into consideration as well.
