Service Request - You should be able to search by the SR long description

The Search button does a search by SR number, description, location, asset and status. You should be able to search by the SR long description as that is text written by the originator which describes the issue or request. The Summary may not be explicit enough and it can be changed by the Service Desk, or if the classification generates a description. Therefore, finding a previous request may be problematic especially for those who are raising the requests on behalf of a team.

    Thank you for the feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to submit this idea and it was carefully considered but at this time we do not have plans to search the long description, which is a rich text field in Service Request.
