When an adhoc work order is created via Mobile (or Follow Up Work Order), there is no ability to leverage core Maximo's planned labor or assignments functionality. In a real world scenario, a technician identifies an issue, can create a SR or WO (depending on customer's desired business process), and the WO may pass through review/approval or be executed immediately. If either reviewed/approved or executed, there is no way to assign a craft, labor, or crew to the WO via mobile. As an example, say a technician identifies an issue, creates the work order via mobile, and needs an electrician and mechanic to be assigned. They would need to go back to core Maximo to make these additions.

Agree with this scenario as in a lot of cases the engineer may be allowed to self assign and just get on with the work. A similar process is required for team based work - e.g. I have a query for all work allocated to an ownergroup as a teams work pool. It would be very useful to allow an engineer to select one one of these work orders and take a self assign action so it moves from the team queue to their assigned work list
