Maximo Mobile Technician and EAM My Schedule are based on assignments but the individual assignee can only COMP the entire WO or Task not the individual assignment .

When more than one assignment is on a WO or Task, the assignees can see and perform the work in the MM apps but there is no way for each assignee to report their individual assignment is Complete.  

Instead they either must manually coordinate among themselves or with their supervisor which defeats the purpose of a mobile application.

Many business units assign multiple individuals to one WO or Task.  This means individual assignees have to coordinate outside the application(s) so the WO or Task is not moved to COMP before all assignments are COMPLETE.

    Totally cannot agree more with this request - If the allocation of work orders is based on Maximo Assignments then the it should be the assignment status that is updated without the issue of record updated by another user issues. This use case is common BUT there would need to be a lot of work to understand the rules for the work order changing status or labor and material reporting etc as these would have to be performed against a specific task I think to avoid update issues against the same work order object.
