Display meaningful message to the user during load times

Under some circumstances, Maximo Mobile will display a spinning wheel to indicate the application is busy that can go for quite a long time For our customer, when connecting to a PROD-like database, going into My Schedule for the first time will cause the application to load for several minutes (2-4 minutes). During that time, only thing that is displayed is a spinning wheel animation User has requested if a meaningful message or a progress bar indicating what is currently happening could be displayed instead or in combination with the animation As it currently is, it is confusing for certain users to know if the processing will resume and whether they should continue to wait

    Updating this idea to reflect the latest changes. The onboarding process in Mobile has changed over the last releases to speed up the initial download process and provide better information about what's happenning. At the app level, for example, those will now be spinning and locked until data is not fully downloaded. Closing this idea as delivered. As usual, thanks for your feedback.

    Thanks for your input. The onboarding user experience is being reviewed as part of the upcoming releases, either to provide more information about what's happening as well as to speed up the initial download process. Some of these changes are already planned for the upcoming release and will continue along 2022.
