We are faced windows long path issue.
As our models get more complex, the artifact names get longer and the package hierarchy gets deeper.
To avoid name collisions and editing conflicts, we try to split units as much as possible and maintain the hierarchical structure.
I found out from Microsoft's https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/fileio/maximum-file-path-limitation page that the long path problem is workable in windows 10. I have found that problem can be avoided in windows 10.
In order to solve this problem, it was mentioned that you have to opt in two things: the repository and the application manifest.
I've configured the repository, but the application manifest setting doesn't seem to match and won't take effect.
Please help me solve the long path problem, including the application manifest setting.

This is a very severe problem from an end user viewpoint. As the whole team of the system and software architects from our company, we would like you to improve this in the near future. Thanks.
From an end user viewpoint, this is a very critical problem. As the whole engineering team that is using Rhapsody from our company, we would like you to solve this problem in the near future.
There is a simple workaround by using Logical paths. We will still keep this request in the backlog though.
Thanks!
