Develop Standard Repair Times functionality for Maximo Transportation

Tractor/trailer, school buses, fleet vehicles and any rolling stock are seeing an industry standard change in the form Standard Repair Times (SRTs). American Trucking Associations Technical & Maintenance Council released a report list of 98 common repair times for the fleet industry on July 19, 2020. Maximo doesn't currently support this functionality and needs to stay current with changing functionality in the fleet transportation space.

Standard Repair Times is a broad topic that has many use cases, from importing standard durations to tracking performance over time, to leveraging standard repair times for warranty management. After meeting with Ashley Furniture, it was determined that this specific need was actually for VMRS-driven 'quick tasks'. A short-term solution was provided using screen configuration and an escalation script, and an epic was created to add this requirement to the development backlog for future prioritization. Discovery on standard repair times continues - please let me know if you'd like to engage on this important topic!

Has there been any progress on this Idea? Our end users are asking about setting SRTs to the VMRS codes. When will this been released?

We are already pulling in VMRS Codes, why not absorb standard repair times?

Customers ask for stuff like this in all industries.
