This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

PUB DB provides a generic wizard/UI to add a new connection as it is optional to use the resource picker/configuration picker while creating a new connection. When you select host details and common providers, a user clicks Go… button which populates the rest of the resource fields. A user adding a new connection should already be familiar with the domain application, for example, for DOORS Next, see https://jazz.net/library/article/1197. It is not PUB DB responsibility to educate users on what to select for each data provider but I agree that PUB DB documentation should be a bit more clear on this. Therefore, your request is accepted and we will work to improve documentation in the future release. Thank you for your submission.
Why can't you admit that there's a feature in the tool which isn't documented at all?
To specify this, after you clicked the URL:
Service catalog --> What’s the differencence between oslc_rm/catalog and oslc_config
Selection Dialog --> What’s the difference between the selections
In the part where you select a modul.
Which view is selected by default?
How can I make views accesable to users?
As I previously indicated, documentation you are asking for can be found under https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/elo-p/7.0.2?topic=builder-managing-data-sources, step 5a-d. I also provided an image with the relevant documentation. Upon review of the support case TS009222298, the same link has been also shared. NOTE that Publishing Document Builder connection configuration is meant to be performed by advance user who is familiar with the IBM Engineering deployment. For example, if a user is trying to setup the DOORS Next data source connection, this information is unique per deployment and should be provided by your DOORS Next administration team. Let me know if you still feel something is missing and we can review your request.

If you are in the Add Connection Pop up and click on select button a new pop up is opening. There's no documentation at all on this, see referenced ticket.
Thank you for your idea submission. There is PUB Document Builder documentation about managing data sources, see https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/elo-p/7.0.2?topic=builder-managing-data-sources which provides information about connection. Is this what you are looking for or something else? If something else, could you elaborate in more details what you are looking for by showing an example?
