This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

In big companies, there are many assignees, contributors, etc., so it would be highly beneficial for clients to get comments and notifications directly linked to specific datapoints, instead of linked to whole disclosures. This would facilitate the clients' work and streamline efficiency when using the platform.

We will continue to monitor demand for this feature and assess how it fits into our long-term development plans to continually support users in their reporting journey, specifically with ESRS. That said, we completely acknowledge the user need to have some workflow within SRM at the data point level and not just at the question level.
Similar to https://bigblue.aha.io/ideas/ideas/ENVIZIESG-I-576, we see this must be balanced with a potentially unwieldly user experience given that there could be 1000+ data points which could multiply the comment section and further complicate navigation within a page. We will evaluate if a tagging feature within the existing comment section would be sufficient for this user need.
