Service Request (RBA) - When creating a new Service Request the Service Address should be derived from the location or asset

In desktop Maximo the Service Address is derived either by a direct service address against the location or asset, or by looking up the address system to derive a service address. There are many use cases where this works perfectly, for example companies providing services to customers, but also in large facilities like a hospital, airport, refinery/chemical plant. In all those cases Spatial may not be used, the assets may not be driven from ESRI or other GIS, and the Service Address in this case provides the coordinates that allows the location (or asset) to be seen on a map, and then work can be scheduled taking into account travel times.

The current Service Request (RBA) allows you to use the service address fields on the Service Request to indicate where the work is needed, but the Save my GPS Location need not be used, which would mean that the SR has no map reference. If the Save my GPS Location is used, it then assumes at the point in time the SR is raised someone is standing at the location where the work is to be performed, which may not be the case, potentially sending a technician to the wrong location.

If it is impractical to include Service Addresses on a mobile device, then there ought to be a way of not showing the Service Address fields and Save my GPS location button, and allowing the Service Address to be derived from the location or asset when the mobile Service Request is saved to the SR object. If the Service Address fields on the mobile are left empty, then by default the SR Object should attempt to derive a Service Address from the location (or asset) when the record is created.
