Having the Maximo Mobile app to open PDF files

Being the organization providing Maximo Mobile for own technicians as well as for contractors' technicians, we would very much like to enable a more easy way for the technicians to get access to supporting documentation in context of work orders.

We have quite an amount of technical instructions and drawings located on an Azure based SharePoint. This solution enables the contractors' technicians to get access via their home organization's Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), that provides single sign-on in combination with multifactor authentication.

Having added relevant links to PMs (and hereby also work orders), Maximo Mobile should be able to open ordinary file types accepted as valid attachments on a work order - even if such attachments are URLs.

A suggestion would be to have Maximo Mobile to utilize already existing functionality on the mobile device; e.g. pass on the URL from the work order into the default browser on the mobile device.
