Requirement is that the Contract Analyst/Buyer field (PO.PURCHASEAGENT) be editable in all statuses except CAN, CLOSE or REVISE.

Right now, the procurement folks when there is a change in staff, they have to do a formal revision (admin type of amendment) to change one field. Procurement are the owners of the application and should therefore, have the ability to change the user in the field as required. Currently procurement staff is not able to edit the Buyer/Contract Analyst field on an approved PO as that field becomes disabled on a PO when it is progressed to APPR status. Also, the only way to update the field currently is to do an Admin Amendment which is time consuming and inefficient.
