This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).

Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. Unfortunately, after evaluating this idea, we don’t believe it aligns with our product roadmap strategy and therefore will not be considering it for inclusion in our product. Facility projects are intended for small projects with dependancies on other areas.
Thank you again for your feedback.

Hi Lou
Sorry for taking so long to reply
The Idea that I suggested was on behalf of our users and their response to the suggestion of using the facilities project is…
such tasks are frequent and don’t really rise to the level of being a project. Especially since they can often be on the fly.. where they start with a service request and a work task, then later maintenance staff determine that multiple types of work are needed to complete the request.
I will be retiring from Stanford University by the end of the month so can you please address any further comments to tjad@stanford.edu
Thank you
Best Regards
John
Hi John, Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. I need a little more information to understand your idea.
The scenario you described should be executed via a facilities project instead of a standalone work task. Have you looked into using the facilities project? If so, what are the concerns?
I look forward to your response. Thank you again for your feedback.
