* Report Builder is used for statistical data reporting and as you know, it can provide reports in a tabular or graph type. Hence, images or embedded files do not make sense to be part of such reporting.
* Based on your feedback, you are looking for document-type reporting and Publishing is the right choice.
* When you are generating documents within DOORS Next, the Engineering Document Generation (EDG) component is used which is a core part of Publishing. PUB Document Builder (PUB DB) is using the same component. If you are having issues generating documents using PUB DB, I suggest working with IBM support to address the issues you are facing. There should not be a reason for such issues as they are using the same components for document generation.

yes we have a case TS018851808
I am referring to Generate Report from Module View directly. Users use this for reviwing changed requirement content and it is very easy to use, and users can collect / select artifacts in Module view easily, and then generate report.
In Report Builder, similar quick export is almost impossible, as users should navigate to other app, create necessary filters, and still some data is not inlcuded as Report Builder does not show embedded images or files.
In Document Builder, its usability is really horrible, generating reports quickly fails 99% for any but Key Users or Admins. Our users are not that experienced and use DNG only occasionally, so Document Builder is totally not suitable.

Could you provide us information which reporting solution are you refering to? Is is for Jazz Reporting Service, Publishing, reporting embedded with domain application, etc? Also, have you already filed an IBM support case and if yes, provide us with the case#?
