Centralized setting to ensure Maximo reuse existing PO's to the fullest. I.e. when new costs appear on a WO, Maximo search for an existing PO, does a revision and add the new costs to that PO. Being an (almost) administrative organization having contracts with contractors for all physical work, many POs are in play on daily basis. To keep workload in-house as well as at contractors as low as possible, amount of POs should be kept low. Having at least one PO in relation to the WO, Maximo should try the best to add further costs on that PO. If the PO is approved, Maximo will ensure to do a revision. That goes on until the PO is marked as locked; e.g. when it is transferred to the contractor for his invoicing. Possible further costs on the related WO may come on a new PO, if the already existing PO has been locked.
