Use a matching reservation when a user issues the same item, but by using the "Select Reserve Items Button".

A user has planned to consume four (4) of the item 560-00 from the central storeroom on a work order.  When the work order is then approved, it creates a reservation on the storeroom for four (4) of that item.

Then, if the user selects the "Select Reserved Items" button in any application that has this, such as work order tracking, quick reporting, issues and transfers, inventory usage, and Maximo Mobile, it will decrement the reservation by the nominated amount.  So, I if issue one (1), then the outstanding reserved balance of three (3).

However, if I just simply issue the item without reference to the reservation, the item does get issued, but the reservation is not decremented by the amount.

The exception to this is in the Inventory Usage application, it will detect that the unreserved item does match a reservation and will inform the user that there is a balance of three (3) outstanding asks do you want to use the outstanding balance, i.e. go get the three (3) or to use the amount (1) that you are issuing.  No matter which choice, your corresponding amount is decremented off the reservation and issued from the storeroom.  NB: if you try and issue 5 (balance of 3), the max amount for that transaction will be 3.

What I would like to have happen is that in all applications where an item can be issued from, is that it checks if there are any reservations of that same item and to display and have finction that same message as for the Inventory Usage application.

This will allow for better inventory managed as item come off the reservation list thus giving a better idea of the demand that is outstanding on the storeroom and improves the reordering system accuracy,
