This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).

In instances where the transaction queue in Maximo Mobile becomes stuck, requiring uninstallation of the app, it would be helpful if the contents of the queue could be exported, in order to avoid data loss.
Part 1: Export
Capability to generate a file that contains the entire contents of a user’s sync queue (including transactions and attachments) that have not yet been received by the server
Share interface (like logs) to send the transaction file via various mechanisms
Nice to have: Action that removes the contents of the sync queue in mobile, so that if the sync issue resolves after export, duplicate transactions do not end up being sent to Maximo via Mobile and the import API
Part 2: Import
Nature of transactions (sequence & dependencies) unlikely to be human readable
Would need a mechanism in Enterprise to ingest and process the file
Mechanism would need write permission to the relevant security groups mirroring that which the user had
API would need to be able to process messages containing a username other than the one that was signed into Enterprise

Stuck transactions needs to managed as defects through the correct support channels. Please engage with support in case you are still seeing stuck transactions in the latest ifix of Maximo Mobile.
